京表具の大切な仕事の一つに、傷んだ表具の修復があります。先代より受け継がれた掛軸。芸術作品を次代へ伝える技術や、書画や表装を修復するだけでなく、表具を愛でてこられた方々の想いまでをも受け継ぎます。

A hanging scroll inherited from a previous generation not only ensures the tradition of passing on the work of art to the next generation, including the calligraphic work and mounting, but also allows them to inherit the sensibility of those who have adored the decoration.
